Emoji Roll · Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 6, 2026
The short version
- No account, no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Your scores, coins and settings stay on your phone. We don't run any servers, and the game doesn't send any of it to us.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google collects device and usage data, including your device's advertising ID, to show and measure those ads. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent first, and you can change your choice later.
- Buying "No Ads" goes through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card details.
- We don't sell your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Imagine Mobile Marketing ("we", "us") handles information in
Emoji Roll, our game for Android (package com.imm.emoji, the "App"). It applies to
version 2.0 and later of the App. Earlier versions, published before 2026, included different advertising
partners. Please update to the latest version.

1. Information stored on your device
To remember your progress, the App saves a small amount of game data only on your phone:
- your best score, total coins collected and the number of games played;
- which smiley character you picked and whether sound is on;
- whether you've bought "No Ads".
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the App, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes it.
The game is steered by tilting your phone. The App reads the phone's motion sensor while you play, only to move your smiley. These readings are used instantly on the device, and are never stored or sent anywhere.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Unless you've bought "No Ads", the App shows banner ads and occasional full-screen ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC (or Google Ireland Limited for users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland). To choose, show, measure and protect those ads against fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the App collects and sends to Google information such as:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your IP address, from which an approximate location (for example, country or city) can be inferred;
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, the App's name and version;
- ad interactions, such as which ads were shown and whether you tapped them; and
- diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data for the ads SDK.
Google uses this information as described in its Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Depending on your choices and where you live, ads may be personalised (based on your interests), or non-personalised (based on context, such as the App itself, plus approximate location).
Consent
If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or in a US state with a privacy law that requires it, the App shows Google's consent message the first time you open it. Ads are only requested after that. You can change your choice at any time from Info → Privacy choices in the App. That link appears wherever these laws apply.
3. In-app purchase
"No Ads" is a one-time purchase made through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under the Google Payments Privacy Notice and the Google Privacy Policy. The App receives only a confirmation from Google Play: the product purchased, a purchase token and the purchase's status. It uses that confirmation on your phone to switch ads off and to restore your purchase if you reinstall. We never receive your name, email address or payment details.
4. Other features
- Share: the Share button opens Android's share sheet with a message about your score. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app to share with, and what happens next is governed by that app's privacy policy.
- Review: the Review button opens the App's page in the Google Play Store.
- Emailing us: if you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of your request.
The App has no analytics or crash-reporting tools of its own, no social logins and no other third-party tracking.
5. Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet and network state | To load ads and to talk to Google Play for the "No Ads" purchase. |
Advertising ID (AD_ID) | Added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, so Google can use your advertising ID for ads as described above. |
| Google Play Billing | To make and restore the "No Ads" purchase. |
The motion sensor used for tilt steering doesn't need a permission on Android. The App doesn't request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
6. Who receives information
We don't collect personal information on our own servers, so we have nothing of yours to sell or hand over. Information is received only by:
- Google, through AdMob and its advertising partners (see section 2) and Google Play Billing (see section 3). Google may process this information in the United States and other countries.
- The app you share to, if you use the Share button.
- Authorities, if we're legally required to disclose information we hold. Apart from emails you send us, we don't hold any.
Under some US state laws, letting an advertising network use your advertising ID for personalised ads can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time using the choices in section 8.
7. How long information is kept
- Game data on your phone: until you uninstall the App or clear its storage.
- Information collected by Google: according to Google's retention policies (how Google retains data).
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 2 years.
8. Your choices and rights
- Change your ad consent: Info → Privacy choices in the App, where these laws apply.
- Limit ad personalisation or delete your advertising ID: on most Android phones, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads). There you can delete or reset your advertising ID.
- Stop all ad-related data collection: buy "No Ads", or uninstall the App.
- Delete your game data: uninstall the App, or clear its storage in Android settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Because the App doesn't send us any data about you, most requests about ad data are best directed to Google, which offers tools at myaccount.google.com. We're also happy to help: email privacy@customblogs.net and we'll reply within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
For users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland: personalised ads are shown only with your consent. Non-personalised ads, and the processing needed to deliver them and prevent fraud, rely on our legitimate interest in funding a free game.
9. Children
Emoji Roll is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at privacy@customblogs.net and we'll help remove it.
10. Security
The App stores your game data only on your phone and uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) when it talks to Google. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep what the App handles to a minimum.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the App gains a feature or changes advertising providers. We'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll also note them in the App's Google Play release notes.
